Good morning and happy Monday. I hope you all had a long Easter weekend full of adventures. You can take a peek at mine below…
On Friday, Andrew and I went to dinner for friends’ birthdays and then to a show at Improv. I have lived in LA for almost 4 years and have yet to go to a comedy or improv show. I don’t have any friends that take classes or do shows, which is rare, so I haven’t really had a reason to go. A friend got tickets to Babble-on, I had never heard of it, but I guess it is a huge hit. There were fans from all over the world. If you are ever in the area, I recommend it, it was a ton of fun, and they are very lenient on the “two drink” rule.
Even with a late Friday night (the show didn’t end till 12:30, way past my lame bedtime) I rallied for Saturday morning yoga. The rest of the day Andrew and I spent at the Getty Villa in Malibu. The day was just as gorgeous as the property, but Andrew’s Fritz shoes were my favorite part of the day.
I had big plans for Easter brunch but thanks to a (good kind of) crazy week, I wasn’t able to pull it off. Andrew came up with the idea of Lucky Charm french toast a couple weeks back, and luckily we were able to make it without a disaster! I promise to share more about it this week, it was the worst kind of amazing.
I hope you are enjoying the start to your week, this is a big week for me, and I think I will need a couple extra cups of coffee (or a cocktail) to make it through!
