Good morning and happy Monday. I hope your weekend was full of adventures. You can take a peek at mine below.
Earlier this year I got hooked on Arrow, and because of it, just adore Stephen Amell. I mean, have you seen him, or him and his daughter? I mean how could you not? Anyways he and a friend started their own winery and thanks to a wine club subscription, its basically like drinking wine with Stephen, that is picked by him. What more could you want? You can find out more about the guys and how Nocking Point started here, their logo was designed by Jim Lee, the illustrator for DC Comics.
I have become a professional car present packer. I am not sure where that would go on my resume, but I am pretty proud of this special skill. (My car was parked, and turned off while I pack presents.)
The gift above was for a friend, who moved away yesterday. I feel like we have been “celebrating” their departure for the last month. Which I have as I have gotten to send extra time with them, yet wish we were gathering for another reason!
Sunday was the perfect amount of laziness and prepping for the upcoming week. Most of my meals have been influenced by the need to clean out my fridge before food expires. Most things, including this baked buttermilk french toast, have been delicious. It has been quite a fun challenge.
Cheers to a short Monday and strong coffee. xx
