Can it even be Memorial Day weekend without a hamburger? We finally stopped into Father’s Office, and it lived up to the hype. I would recommend the sweet potato fries over the regular if you splurge for those too!
Good morning and happy Tuesday!
I feel like I have been playing constant catchup for the past month, but finally I feel like I am back not only on top of things, but maybe am getting a head of the game. Knock on wood. Some day very soon, I will recap all the celebrations that have been taking place, but for now, take a peek at my long weekend adventures below…
Friday night, Andrew and I got to try out Munchery. It is a new food delivery service that brings chef inspired and cooked meals to your home table. I will be sharing more later this week but for now, can we talk about their amazing colors?
Saturday, Andrew and I, and the rest of LA, went on a hike. While our idea was no where near original, I am always so glad when we get out on the trails.
I can rarely go on a hike without going to lunch afterwards. The thought of iced tea gets me through the hills. We stopped by Cafe Vida in the Palisades, and it was amazing. I got the warm cafe salad, which will be my go to order from now on.
I was able to start on a couple projects that have been on my “list” for quite a while, this weekend. My anxiety has been at an all time high having not been able to work at them at all. Now that I have been able to start them, my anxiety is more about being able to complete them in a timely manner, and complete them well. Anxiety is never fun, but this anxiety is much better then the former. The above photo is peek at a last minuet project I am very excited about. I cannot wait to share the finish product!
I am off to get another cup of coffee and tackle this short week!
