Hello and happy Monday to you! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Andrew and I were able to cross a couple of things off our summer “bucket” list, take a peak below…
Friday night we went to Jazz at LACMA. I didn’t know what to expect as far as crowds, seating, wine, etc. It was completely packed, all of the lawns were covered with picnickers, wine was fine, even encouraged, and unless you were a die hard fan who arrived hours early, it was picnic blankets and lawn chairs for seating, which is what I prefer.
Saturday we went to see Saving Mr Banks in the park. Why I thought the movie would start at 6 like it said on the website was beyond me! It didn’t start until almost 830! Luckily the weather was beautiful, we had cards, and ended up with great seats! If you haven’t seen Saving Mr. Banks, I highly recommend it!
Each of our evening plans meant picnics in the park! It is easily my favorite way to eat. We kept it pretty simple this weekend and picked up food. On Friday we got empanadas from a new small restaurant right down the street from my house. They are the best I have had outside of South America. It will take all my self control to not go once a week!
